Genealogy is my passion and I enjoy helping others with their research. It is important to document everything possible to prove what you believe to be true. If you can't find it online or at a nearby Library, then make phone calls, write letters, do whatever it takes to prove your information. If someone can prove you have made a mistake, be gracious and thank them for giving you the correct information, if they have documentation and will share it with you.

Remember, census takers make mistakes just like anyone else.
