My father got me involved in genealogy 30 years ago, so I've trekked through many cemeteries across some of the most overgrown terrain imaginable in South Carolina, Alabama and North Carolina. I understand the need for documentation and information from tombstones and preservation of family history, and it's very comforting to just having a photo of a family member's or friend's grave when its hundreds of miles away.

I retired a couple of years ago, and am now trying to become a more active part of this cause.
