Bio

Born in Couer d'Alene Idaho 1941.

In 1947 my Father moved us to Colorado.
We lived in Durango, Grand Junction, And Denver.
What a glorious state. I will always be a Colorado boy at heart.

The Colorado of my youth was gone by the late 1980's. Consquently, I decided to move my family back to the Northwest, We settled in the Seattle
area until my retirement in 1998. At that time
we moved to Port Angeles, and later to Spokane in
2008

My family history on my father's side goes
back about 100 years in the Post Falls area.
His father had a ranch along the River, which
the city bought in later years and named Sanders Beach.

My Mother's history goes back about the same time period. Nathaniel Sherrard settled in St. Maries Idaho. He was from Maine originally.

My fascination with cemeteries started in
the old Colorado Ghost towns. Creede,
Cripple Creek, Leadville, Central City, and
many more. My brothers and I would spend hours
in these Mountain Grave yards.

The graves were a story unto themselves.
