LeRoy Pulliam, 54, of Silver Shoals Road, Liberty Hill community, died early Sunday, Dec. 22, in the Stephens County Hospital after an extended illness.
Mr. Pulliam was born in Stephens County, April 7, 1920, a son of Lee A. Pulliam of Eastanollee and the late Mrs. Emma Ivester Pulliam and had lived all of his life in Stephens County.
He was a member of the Liberty Hill Baptist Church, an Army veteran of World War II and attended the Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors, in addition to his father, include his wife, Mrs. Della Collins Pulliam of the home; two sons, Barry Pulliam of the home and Richard Pulliam of Eastanollee; a daughter, Mrs. Joyce Pulliam Jamison of Eastanollee; two grandchildren, Ricky Pulliam and Tonya Leah Jamison, both of Eastanollee; two sisters, Mrs. Hautence Patterson of Toccoa and Mrs. Bonnie Bower of Smyrna; three brothers, Ard Pulliam of Gray, Hugh Pulliam of Eastanollee and Columbus Pulliam of Alto.
Funeral services were held Monday at 4 p.m. from the Pentecostal Holiness Church on Rothell Road with Rev. Fred Kendrick, Rev. Walter Poole and Rev. Leo Jenkins officiating. Burial followed in Stephens Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were Raleigh Harrison, Cohen Harrison, Robert Sosby, Frank Ray Burgess, Dailey Swilling and Don Scott.
Whitlock Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
