Death of North Edwards man Reported here
Loren Edward Cartmell, 53 of North Edwards passed away in Boron Citizens Hospital April 14th.
Born August 12, 1914 in Indiana, he was an illustrator at Edwards AFB. A resident of the state for 39 years he had spent the last five years in Kern County residing at Apt. 1, Flint and Century streets, North Edwards.
Mr. Cartmell was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War serving in both areas.
His survivors are: wife Rose; mother Agnes Donaldson of Long Beach; son W. E of Ft. Ord; brother Bryan of Garden Grove; and sisters, Mary Garret of Lakewood and Roberta Cartmell of Long Beach.
Services will be April 17 in Sunnyside Memorial Park Chapel, Long Beach, at 2:30 p.m.
Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery (sic) with Stickel Mortuary in charge.
