She was married 1st to William Curran, in Winnipeg, June 25, 1894. She married 2nd to David Butchart, April 5, 1920 in Winnipeg.

Funeral services were conducted by Father Turney at Mordue's. Mrs. Butchart was born in Quebec, P.Q. and came to Winnipeg with her parents, as an infant. She grew up at Upper Fort Garry and received her education at St. Boniface and St. Mary's convents. In 1894, she married William Curran, who was killed in action in the Great War in 1917. Gravesite Details
In the centre of the cross it appears there was once a plaque, but it is now gone. The remnants of some nails are still visible. On the base of the monument appears the date Feb. 5, 1937, which is the date of death of Victoria Butchart.
