Swan Lake RFD passed away at the Maimonides Hospital, Liberty, January 16 at 2
a.m. after an illness of two weeks duration. He was born at White Sulphur
Springs May 23 1867, the son of the late Alfred and Deborah West Broadhead. Mr
Braodhead is survived by his wife the former Edna Fulton and one son, Orin,
Jr., also one daughter, Mrs Mary Mattison of Kauneonga Lake, 5 grandchildren;
one sister - Mrs Edith Vogt of Cedarhurst L I; one brother - Alfred of White
Sulphur Springs and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at
the Ramsay Funeral Home at Liberty Sunday January 19 at 2 p.m. Rev Lloyd
Gilmour of Liberty officiated. Burial in Bethel Evergreen cemetery."
