Helen Louise Stewart, 65, of North Vernon died at 1:43 p.m. Thursday, September 30, 2004, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Stewart retired in April 2003 after 33 years as a fork truck driver at Khulman Electric in Versailles, Kentucky. She attended First Assembly of God in North Vernon, and enjoyed cooking, gardening and playing cards.
The funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 4, at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home in Versailles, Kentucky, with the Revs. Randy Andrews, Charles McKinnley and Frank Lane officiating. Calling is from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday, October 2, at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home in North Vernon, and from 4::0-8:00 p.m. Sunday at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Frankfort, Kentucky.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to First Assembly of God Building Fund.
Born January 21, 1939, in Pennsylvania, Mrs. Stewart was the daughter of Howard O. and Rhae I Bream Barrick. She married Roger M. Hall in 1958 and Fred A. Stewart in 1968.
Surviving are sons, Jimmy D. Hall of Springfield, Kentucky, Douglas W. Hall of Versailles, Kentucky, and Barry W. Hall of Wilkinson, Indiana; sisters, Grace Lamb of North Vernon, and Dorothy Harmon, Martha Soard, Ethel Lancaster and Barbara Mathis, all of Versailles, Kentucky; ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, in 1966; her second husband, in 1993; brothers, Howard O. Barrick Jr., Stanley E. Barrick and Luther Barrick; and a great-granddaughter, Heather Clair Hall.
