In March 1981, she married Marine Sgt. Tom Higley, who gave more than 30 years of decorated service to his country. She and Tom were the proud parents of Tom, Tim, Erin and Megan. In 2004, Tom died from complications of surgery. Cheryl Ann became a grandmother in 2006 and 2007 with the birth of Ryan and Hunter.
She is also survived by her sister, Gerrie Schipske and her brother, Norman Schipske. Funeral services are being held Monday, January 14, 2008 at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones, Las Vegas, Nevada.

CHERYL HIGLEY Cheryl A.S. Higley, 52, of Las Vegas, died Jan. 8, 2008. She was a construction project controller. She is survived by her sons, Thomas and Timothy; and daughters, Erin and Meghan, all of Las Vegas. Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Graveside service at 1:20 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
