Treva was born October 10, 1918 in York and was the daughter of the late Norman and Nettie (Lentz) Stambaugh.
Treva was a former member of St. Luke United Methodist Church and Faith United Church of Christ both of York. She was a member of A.A.R.P. and enjoyed their bus trips and the companionship of her many friends that she made there over the years. Mrs. Deardorff enjoyed traveling and fellowship with her family and especially her weekly visits with her sisters and her monthly lunches at Manchester Cafe with the Deardorff family.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon L. Deardorff of Bethesda, Md.; her sisters, Edna McDonald of Mountville, Florence Lankford of York and Betty Airing of Dover; and her brothers, Carl Stambaugh and William Stambaugh both of York. She was preceded in death by her sister, Geraldine Shelley; and her brothers, Earl, Paul, Preston, and Norman Stambaugh.
Her funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Saturday, November 3, 2012 at TheDiehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 87 S. Main St., Mount Wolf. Viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday, at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Officiating at the service will be The Rev. Ruthann Seibert from Salem United Church of Christ, Dover.
