James Dairries Griffith, 80, of 718 Oor's Camp Road, died Thursday, October 1, 1987, at Pardee Hospital following a long illness.
A native of Haywood County, he spent most of his life in Henderson County. He was a son of the late John Cebron Griffith and Mary Elizabeth McElroy Griffith and the husband of the late Dovie Buchanan Griffith.
Funeral services conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, October 3, at Shepherd's Church Street Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
