John L. Goodwin, 34, son of Mrs. Margaret Goodwin of Stockwell, died at 7 a.m. Tuesday in Our Lady of Mercy Hospital from injuries suffered in an automobile accident in Dyer Feb. 17.
Mr. Goodwin, a native of Indiana, was employed by Youngstown Street and Tube Co. in East Chicago and resided in Dyer.
Surviving with his mother are the widow, the former Mary Tatrow; two stepsons, John and Ricky Barehead; three stepdaughters, Paula, Sherie and Kristy Barehead, all at home, and one brother, Vernon Goodwin of Dwight, Ill.
