Donald I. DiBello, 78, of Englewood, FL (Charlotte County) passed away Monday, October 27, 2003. Mr. DiBello was born July 26, 1925 in Middletown, NY. He was a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II. Donald was employed with the Boy Scouts of America as a District Scout Executive in 1953 until 1970 when he left and joined Farm Family Insurance Company, Glenmont, NY until retiring to Englewood, FL. He was founder of the U.S.S. Deuel Association and belonged to the National Association of Amateur Radio Operators as well as holding memberships in the American Legion, V.F.W., Masons, and Scottish Rite Valley of Albany.
Surviving are his daughter, Donna DiBello; sons, Paul, Peter, Mark; brother, Edward; sister, Caroline Everts; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 8 at 2:00 p.m. at the West Stephentown Baptist Church, Stephentown, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Don's name are suggested to Boy Scouts of America, Daniel Webster Council, 571 Holt Ave., Manchester, NH 03109.
