Peggy Lou (Dalton) West, 76, of Gaffney, SC, passed away Monday, October 8, 2012 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Born April 24, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Olin Dalton and Essie (Blanton) Dalton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Don West, her brother, Jack Dalton, and her sister, Norma Dalton Ray.
She is survived by children, Tommie and Lynne West of Conyers, TX, Richard and Tamara West of Savannah, GA, Debbie and Randy Wooten of Cowpens, Randy and Jan West of Auburndale, FL, and Rick and Lisa West of Cowpens.
She is "Nanny" to Thomas "Scooter" West, Tonya Pettit, David and Donald Wooten, Miranda W. Miller, Carla and Ernie West, Jason, Eric, Cory and Dillon West.
Great-grandmother to (Nanny) to Maxx, Bailey, Adam, Emily, Lydia, Owen, Silas, Hayden, Leah, Ava, Jacob, Kailyn and Kaylee.
The family received friends 6:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Blakely Funeral Home.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at Love Springs Baptist Church with Rev. John Cox officiating. Interment was in the Love Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
