Charles Harry Maddox Jr., 77, of Sweeny passed away on Monday, August 3, 2009, at Cypress Woods Nursing Center, Angleton, surrounded by his friends.
Charles was born in Cherry Hill, Virginia, on April 8, 1932, to Charles and Myrtle Maddox. Mr. Maddox was a kind and gentle man who loved reading his Bible and praying for what was in his heart. His words of kindness, his love and his gentle spirit will be in our hearts forever. In his honor, please take time to volunteer, pray, feed birds, enjoy nature and spend time with a friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Mr. Maddox was preceded in death by his parents; and a nephew, Chuckie Thomas.
