Mildred E. Ankabrandt, 72, 815 Petersburg Road, died Saturday in Carlisle Hospital.

She was born in South Middleton Township and was the daughter of the late David Harvey and Catharine C. Long Wolf and the widow of Stewart M. Ankabrandt.

She was a member of the Brethren in Christ Church, Carlisle and the Volunteer Fellowship Sunday School Class.

Surviving are a daughter, Nancy J. Steel, 807 Petersburg Road; two sisters, Bertha Cleaver, Gardners, Mary Goodling, Carlisle; Martin Wolf, Carlisle; and one granddaughter.

Services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. from the Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, 219 North Hanover St. with the Rev. Elbert N. Smith and Rev. Kenneth O. Hoke officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
