SENATOBIA - Margie Darby Copeland, 73, died Saturday, May 6, 2006, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel.
Services are today at 2 p.m. at Pate -Jones Chapel. Burial will be in Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville. Jerry Morton, minister of Ellisville Church of Christ, will officiate. Pate -Jones Funeral Home has charge.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lance and Gladys Martin, husbands Cecil A. Darby and Ervin J. Copeland, and brothers, Bill Martin and Leon Martin.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty Grace Doty and husband Guy of Brandon and Ann Burks and husband Ed of Laurel; step-children Linda Summerford of Plano, Texas, Gary Copeland and Ricky Copeland, both of Senatobia; four grandchildren, David Doty and wife Barbie of Brandon; Tommy Doty and wife Sandy of Brandon; Amy Burks of Laurel and Jennifer Burks Whitten and husband Chris of Houston, Texas; one great-granddaughter, Rayna Doty of Brandon; nine step-grandchildren and eight step-great grandchildren; three sisters, Laverne Darby, Betty Matthews, Carol Maughan; two brothers, Wesley Martin and Bob Martin, and a host of family and friends.

i think of you often margie and i miss running into you when i go shopping. you will always in my heart and never forgotten. i will cherish the memories i have been blessed to have had with you and ervin.
