Mrs. Edmund (Agnes Vernosh) Beyer
Mrs. Edmund (Agnes Vernosh) Beyer, 72, Rt. 1, Abrams, former resident of Spruce, died Friday at an Oconto Falls nursing home. The former Agnes C. Vernosh was born April 29, 1911 to the late Fred and Pauline Vernosh in the Town of Stiles. She lived in the Stiles and Spruce areas until moving to Abrams, Nov. 11, 1971 where she made her home with her daughter, Jackie.
She married Edmund Beyer Feb. 5, 1929 in St. Charles Church , Lena. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Spruce, and St. Charles Catholic Church, Lena.
Survivors include her husband, Edmund; six sons, and daughters-in-law, Albert (Doris) Beyer, Plymouth; Peter (Barbara) Beyer, Sheboygan; Edmund (Janice) Beyer, Kaukauna; Edward (Judy) Beyer, Oconto Falls, Alex (Judy) Beyer, New London; Charles (Rosemary) Beyer, Freedom; five daughters and sons-in-law, Marcella (Art) Muelmans, Kaukauna; Joyce (Bernard) Van Roy, Wrightstown, Jackie (William) Jones, Abrams, Agnes (Robert) Karner, Greenleaf; Cathy (Roger) Erdmann, Kaukauna; 30 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; one sister, Rose Vernosh, Eau Claire; one brother, Louis (Red) Vernosh, Lena.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Lorraine, one sister, Stella Vernosh, in January, 1983, and also by three grandchildren.
Friends may call at Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home, Lena, from 4 to 9 p.m. today.
Prayer service 7:30 tonight. Funeral 11 a.m. Monday at St. Charles Catholic Church, Lena, with the Rev. Ralph Gillis officiating. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery, Stiles.
