She was born April 19, 1928, in Newton, the daughter of Gilbert and Lola Shomber Reber.She worked as a bookkeeper for Inman Electric. She was a member of Bethel Mennonite Church and the Friendship Sewing Circle.On Sept. 28, 1949, she married Adolf Neufeld at Sedgwick. He survives.Other survivors include: her daughter, Marilyn Marshall of Salina; one brother, Robert (Iva) Reber of Newton; one sister, Catherine (Allen) Molzen of Wamego; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m., with the family greeting friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Buhler Mortuary in Buhler.Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bethel Mennonite Church in Inman, with Pastor Alden Dick officiating.
