NEWTON — Wanda Marie Neufeld, 83, passed away on Sunday (Nov. 28, 2010) at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
She was born April 19, 1928, in Newton, the daughter of Gilbert and Lola Shomber Reber.She worked as a bookkeeper for Inman Electric. She was a member of Bethel Mennonite Church and the Friendship Sewing Circle.On Sept. 28, 1949, she married Adolf Neufeld at Sedgwick. He survives.Other survivors include: her daughter, Marilyn Marshall of Salina; one brother, Robert (Iva) Reber of Newton; one sister, Catherine (Allen) Molzen of Wamego; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m., with the family greeting friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Buhler Mortuary in Buhler.Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bethel Mennonite Church in Inman, with Pastor Alden Dick officiating. Burial will follow at North Inman Cemetery in Inman.Memorials may be sent to Camp Mennoscah in care of Buhler Mortuary, 120 N. Main St., Buhler, KS 67522.
