OBITUARY FOR MARGARET AMES FROM THE EVENING NEWS, SAULT STE. MARIE, MICH., TUES., JUNE 16, 1959
Margaret Ames
Mrs. Thomas G. (Margaret) Ames died today at her home at 2214 W. 3rd Ave.
She had been a Sault resident for 50 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church.
She was born in Goderich, Ont., Aug. 17, 1869.
Surviving is her daughter, Mrs. Clifford M. Elliott; three stepsons, John Ames of the Pickford Star Route, Elmer Ames of the Sault and William Ames of Pickford; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at the First Baptist Church on Thursday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Clarence Lawton officiating.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
