John D. Woodham, 72, of Tallahassee died Sunday.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Killearn United Methodist Church, with burial at Culley's MeadowWood Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Culley's MeadowWood Riggins Road Chapel (877-8191). Memorial contributions may be made to the Killearn United Methodist Church Youth Building Fund, 2800 S. Shamrock, Tallahassee 32308.
A native of Slocomb, Ala., he had lived in Tallahassee for 28 years. He was a soil conservationist with the U.S. Department of Agriculture until his retirement, was an Army veteran of World War II, was a former Seminole Booster, and was a former member of Killearn United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Bobbie Woodham of Tallahassee; two sons, Wally Woodham of Tallahassee and Chuck Woodham of Tampa; a daughter, Kay Moravek of Marble, Colo.; two brothers, Wendell Woodham and Jack Woodham, both of Graceville; three sisters, Marie Bolden of Graceville, Jane Bass of Dothan, Ala., and Aria West of Bonifay; and four grandchildren.
