David W. Ruddock, 57, of 112 Miller Ave., Homer City, passed away at his home this morning, November 25, 1960. Born September 5, 1903 in St. Benedict, Pa., he was a son of William and Mary Williamson Ruddock. He had lived the greater part of his life in Homer City, was a member of the Homer City Methodist Church and the U.M.W.A. of McIntyre Local 3548.
Mr. Ruddock is survived by his wife, the former Freda Potts; three children: Lois, wife of David Craig of Elyria, Ohio; Donna, wife of John Adams of Elyria, Ohio; son, David, at home; his mother Mrs. Mary Ruddock of Homer City R.D. 2; six grandchildren and these brothers and sister; Hugh A. of Homer City R.D. 2; William of Homer City; Marie, wife of Marshall Bell of Westleyville, Pa.; Dorothy, wife of George Bley of McKeesport; Robert of Homer City R.D. 2, Betty, wife of Robert Davis of Graceton.
A son, Thomas was killed in the Korean Conflict.
Askew Funeral Home, Homer City, is in charge where services will be conducted by his pastor, the Rev. William C. Lovell on Monday, November 28 and interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Indiana, Pa.
