NISSWA — Aileen Bentley, age 97, longtime resident of Nisswa, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2011, at Edgewood Vista in Brainerd. She was born to Frank and Tillie Maxfield on Feb. 10, 1914, in Bane, Minn.
Aileen graduated from Crosby High School in 1936 and married Glen Bentley in 1938. She was a very active member of Christ Community Church in Nisswa where she taught Sunday School for many years.
Aileen is survived by her daughters, Patricia Bible (Charles), Marlys Holp (John); nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen; brother, Harold; and sisters, Lorraine and Marian.
Services will be 11 a.m. on Monday, June 20, at Christ Community Church, Nisswa, with Pastor Dave Uhrich officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Nisswa. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Arrangements are with Kline Funeral Home, Pequot Lakes.
