| Birth: | May 2, 1873 Koeltztown Osage County Missouri, USA | | Death: | Apr. 16, 1948 Freeburg Osage County Missouri, USA |  Meta Herald Thursday 22 April 1948 Mrs. Struemph Dies at Freeburg Highly Respected Matron Suddenly Called Death called to her reward last Friday, April 16, one of Freeburg's best known and most highly respected women, Mrs. Mary Struemph. She was 74 years, 11 months and four days of age, and died following a heart stroke at her home in Freeburg. Mrs. Struemph was a daughter of the late Fritz and Clara Stratman Falter and was born at Koeltztown on May 2, 1873. She was a life long and devoted member of the Catholic Church. Her husband Joseph Struemph Sr., to whom she was married on January 21, 1896 died several years ago. Surviving are eight sones: Henry, Fritz, George, Frank, Joe, Bernard and Raymond, all of Freeburg and Leo of St. Louis. A daughter died in infancy. Three sisters, Mrs. Clara Wansing and Mrs. Lizetta Struemph of Vienna and Teresa Neumer of Richfountain also survive.
