Jefferson City Post-Tribune, Jefferson City, Missouri, Thursday, January 3, 1929, front page - FALL FROM AUTO PROVES FATAL - Herman Sandbothe buried at Vienna - died at Hospital Tuesday

The funeral of Herman Sandbothe who died at the hospital here New Year's day from injuries received in a fall from injuries received in a fall from an automobile at Vienna early Christmas morning, took place from the Catholic Church at Vienna at 9 o'clock this morning. Burial was made in the Church Cemetery there.

Sandbothe returning to his home from early mass Christmas morning was riding on the fender of a automobile. He was thrown violently to the road when the car turned a corner and substained a fracture to the skull. He was a prominent farmer of the Vienna Neighborhood. He was 65 years old and is mourned by three children. His wife preceeded him in death last August.
