Floris- Roy Clifford Grosvenor, age 88 of Floris, IA died at 11 a.m. Dec. 29, 1990 at Davis Co. Hosp.in Bloomfield, IA. He was born Feb. 26, 1902 in Davis Co. to Waldo Davis and Emma Rogers Grosvenor. He married Marie Eleanor Fiedler on Mar. 21, 1935 in Lancaster, MO. He was employed by the Ordinance Plant in Burlington before retiring in 1967, after more than 20 years of service. He was a farmer and self employed fur buyer in the Floris area. He was a member of Floris Christian Church.
He is surv. by his wife and dau., two sons; 11 grandch., 13 gr grch, a bro., Lloyd of Eldon and a sis. Fanny Miller of Cedar Rapids. He was preceded in death by infant twin children Roy and Joy, his parents, 3 bro. and 4 sis. The service will be 1 p.m. Wed. Jan. 2, 1991 at Wagler Fun. Home in Bloomfield, the Rev. David Albert officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Gilead Cem. south of Floris. The family will be at the funeral home from 2-4 p.m. Tues. Pallbearers will be Leonard & David Fiedler, Leonard Grosvenor, Craig Lanman, Randy Piper and Ross Bayliss. A memorial may be made to Floris Volunteer Fire Dept
