Funeral services for Mrs. Emil Johnson, 76, Lanesboro, will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Union Prairie Lutheran Church, the Rev. Leon Holtan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at Johnson Funeral Home Thursday afternoon and evening and at the church one hour before services.

In ill health the past six months she died at her home Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Johnson had moved to the village Nov. 15 from a farm in Preston Township.

The former Ovedia Simonson, she was born Sept. 18, 1892, in Preston Township to Andrew and Julia Simonson and was married to Emil Johnson here Aug. 11, 1915.

She was a member of Union Prairie Lutheran Church.

Surviving are: Her husband; a son, Orvis, Lanesboro; two daughters, Mrs. Palmer (Orillie) Kinneberg, Preston; Mrs. Orval (Alida) Peterson, Lanesboro; nine grandchildren; a brother, Arthur, Preston, and three sisters, Mrs. Jonette Burreson, Preston; Mrs. John Sabo, Port Orchard, Wash., and Mrs. Theodore Hoppman, Minot, N.D.
