FREDERICK L. FARRAR, 70, b. Nebraska, Dec. 8, 1903, d. Butte City, Apr. 2, 1974.
A resident of Butte City since 1909, Mr. Farrar was engaged in farming and took an active part in community affairs. He served on the Glenn County Planning Commission for 15 years and as a trustee of Princeton High School.
He was a member and past master of Laurel Lodge No. 245 of the Masons of Willows and a past worthy patron of Wild Rose Chapter No. 326, Eastern Star, Afton.
Survivors include his wife Minna of Butte City; his children, Andrew Farrar of North Highlands, Curtis Farrar of Antioch, Louise Collier of Anderson, Mary Juarez of Oakland and Dorothy Harmon of Salinas; twin sisters, Gladys Gay of Orland and Myrna Mathieson of Chico; a brother, A.C. Farrar of Sacramento and ten grandchildren.
Interment was in the Marvin Chapel Cemetery in Afton. - Transcribed by M.
