Carrie Mabel Service was the daughter of Leonard Marvin Service 1883 – 1947 and Lucy Ola Escue 1886 – 1962. Carrie had one known brother, John W Service 1909 – 1989.

On April 1, 1933 Carrie became the bride of Roy Louis Casey in Bronte, Coke, Texas. She gave birth to one known baby that died at birth.

In 1940 Carrie and Roy were living on 111 Houston street in Robert Lee, Coke Co., Texas. They were paying $6.00 a month for a place to live, and Roy was working a mechanic. There was still no children in the home. It is not known if they had more babies.

During WWII Roy served as as a Staff Sargent in the army He mustered out in Jul of 1955.

The next source of information came in 1993 from the City Directory. They were receiving their mail at P.O. Box 73, Robert Lee, TX, 76945-0073.

U.S. Veterans Gravesites, confirms that Roy L Casey passed away on Mar. 1, 2000, Service Info., S SGT US ARMY WORLD WAR II. He was burried at the Robert Lee Cemetery.

Carrie followed him in death a year later on Mar. 8, 2001. She to was buried at the Robert Lee Cemetery where they both "Rest in Peace" (Bio by Audrey DeCamp Hoffman)
