John G. Stockdale
MORTON -- John G. Stockdale, a 16 year resident of Morton, coming from Tacoma, died at his home, Saturday, Sept 18, at the age of 69.
Stockton was born in Zanesville, Ohio on Jan 7, 1913, and had been a captain in the US Army. He was a member of the Morton Athletic Association, Central Lutheran Church, and Morton Lodge 209, F.& A.M. Stockdale had been a registered physical therapist at Morton General Hospital for more than seven years.
Survivors include his wife, Naomi, at home; five sons, Rick F. Stockdale of Chehalis, John Gus, Jr., Tim E., Mike T., and Kevin Stockdale, all of Morton; three daughters, Virginia Tomkins of Seattle, Mrs. Larry (Kathy) Lemen of Newberg, Oregon, and Mrs. Richard (Laura) Christianson of Morton; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 1pm Wednesday at the Morton Cemetery with the Rev. Theodore Teyler officiating.
Remembrances may be donations to the Morton Husky Scholarship Fund for medical students.
