Marilyn L. Addison, 76, died Sept. 13, 2008, at her home. She was born in Rushville, Ind., and lived in Stuart since 1969, coming from Findlay, Ohio. She was the dean of women for 17 years at Hobe Sound Bible College. For the past 12 years, she worked at the Grace Place in Stuart. She was a member of the Grace Place in Stuart.
Survivors include her daughter, Janan Olsen of Sugar Hill, Ga.; sons, Richard H. Addison Jr. of Stuart, Stephen D. Addison Sr. of Hobe Sound, Rodney G. Addison of Evans, Ga., and Randal D. Addison of Salisbury, N.C.; brothers, David Miller of Lancaster, Ohio, Samuel Miller of Hobe Sound; Mark Miller of Smithburg, W.Va., Philip Miller of Shelbyville, Ind., and Steve Miller of Kearney, Neb.; sisters, Martha Miller of Rushville, Ind., Mary Leidig of Stuart, Miriam Stanley and Marsha Melton, both of Pickens, S.C., and Marilee Brush of Palm City; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard H. Addison Sr., in 1969, and her brother, Keith Miller, in 2001.
