Bethuel's great-granddaughter, Ginger added this information: "Bess Bethoval Bever was the father of my Grandmother Cora Elizabeth Bever Runyon. He was called PegLeg due to a corn accident where he lost his leg. My father use to talk about him. I did not realize he was buried near Manton."
Bethuel "Bess" Bever died on 23 May 1944 in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan. He was buried in the Fairview Cemetery (Use to be named Maplehill), Wexford County, Michigan.
