GRACE HIGGINS ROOD-MrsHL--36:
died Tuesday afternoon [2-11] at Ashtabula Gen-eral Hosp following the birth of a son by Caesarian operation earlier in the day. The baby which has not yet been named, was born at 10AM & weighed 7lbs-4oz. MrsRood was born 1 Oct 1905 in Williamsfield. She lived for many years in Geneva, but moved to Willoughby where she graduated from Andrews School for Girls & was a member of the Methodist Church.
For the past 6 years she has lived in Ashtabula with her husband Howard & their dau Janet, both of whom survive. Other survivors include her parents: Mr&Mrs Perry Higgins-Geneva; sis: MrsTalmadge Fowler & MrsDT Ford-Geneva.
Service will be Friday afternoon at Webster Funeral Home, interment in Plymouth Cem. RevBH Shadduck-LakeAve Methodist Church will officiate. {MapleGrove Cem-Plymouth}
