Lloyd W. Herring, 67, Biglerville R.1, died at his home Thursday afternoon at 4:45 after an illness.
He was a native of Adams County and was a son of the late George and Sarah (Fritz) Herring. HE had been a seasonal employee of the C. H. Musselman Company.
Surviving are his wife Anna (Baker) Herring and these children, Mrs. Lorraine Spence, Gettysburg R.3; Lloyd W Herring Jr. and Eugene Herring, both of Gettysburg R.1, and Mrs. Pauline Bream, Altonna. There are 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. These brothers and sisters survive; Mrs. Blanche Boyd, Orrtanna; Mrs. Viola Nary, York; Cleason A. Herring, Fairfield; Mrs. Aletha Pitzer, Biglerville R.1, and Mrs. Lovell Cease, Orrtanna. There is a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services Sunday afternoon at 2:00 at the Bender Funeral Home, with the Rev. Douglas Boden, pastor of Flohr’s Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment will be made in Flohr’s Church Cemetery.
