Dora Marie Bridgham, a Columbia resident since 1979, passed away on a Friday at a hospital in Sonora. She was 83.
Mrs. Bridgham, a native of California, had been a waitress for Rosetti's Restaurant in Wallace where her excellent work ethic shined.
Dora was a friendly, creative and physically active lady who enjoyed crafts, camping, walking on the beach and especially her family. She was a member of Gold Country Social Club, a card club and was very active at Tuolumne County Senior Center.
Mrs. Bridgham was survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law. One son was living in Sonora, one in San Leandro and the other and her daughter-in-law was living in San Diego at the time of her death. She also had a grandson living in Sonora; a brother, Albert Puccinelli of the Bay Area; and a sister, Elizabeth Bowden of Campbell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Bridgham, in 1995.
An afternoon memorial service was held at Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home, and a private family inurment will be held at Columbia City Cemetery.
