F. Earl Monaco of Sun City, Ariz., died peacefully on Oct. 16, 2006.

Earl, the oldest of seven children, was born in Anaconda on Sept. 6, 1917, to Joseph A. and Maria Assunta Monaco. He was preceded in death by his parents, baby sister, Angela, brother, Elmer, and daughter, Stella Boquilla. He resided mostly in Anaconda and Missoula until retiring to Sun City.

Earl distinguished himself as an outstanding agent for the New York Life Insurance Co. and was a recognized life member of the company's Million Dollar Round Table.

He was a past exalted ruler and ritualistic team coach for the Elks Lodge and a member of the Kiwanis Club in Missoula. He also enjoyed volunteering for crowd control at numerous golf tournaments in Arizona.

Earl is survived by his wife, Naomi; son, Earl F. Monaco; daughter, Janis M. Herron; brothers, Clarence A. and Joseph G. Monaco; sisters, Virginia A. Blaskovich and Margaret M. Frey; and a number of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mass of the Resurrection and inurnment was held in Sun City.

Memorials: Our Lady of the Rockies in Butte.
