Mrs. Billinsly, wife of Henry Billingsly,
died suddenly Wednesday night. She had retired in her usual health and on Wednesday had been way from home visiting friends. About 11 o'cloak, during a rain accompanied by lightning Mrs. Billingsly arose to close a window, being at the time somewhat nervous on account of the vivid flashes of lighting and the thunder. She complained, of difficulty in breathing and asked to be propped up in bed. This was done but all afforded no relief. She expired in a few minutes afterwards.
Mrs. Billingsly had been subject to heart trouble for some time and her death was due to this, doubtless hastened, however, from the excitement caused by the storm.
Deceased was about sixty years of age. Funeral services will he held Sunday at Greenwood.
