Louise C. Garvin died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012.

She is survived by seven children; three daughters: Wanda Cody, Sheila Young, and Anita Saliva; four sons: Danny Garvin, Richard Garvin, Benny Garvin, and Steven Garvin. She is also survived by over 60 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday, Aug. 31, at the LDS Stake Center in Taylor. Burial was at the Clay Springs Cemetery following the service.

Silver Creek Mortuary of Taylor handled arrangements.

Louise was born 20 March 1931 in Los Angeles, California to Edward Alexander and Alice Ella Christensen Campbell.

She married P. Bryant Garvin 22 May 1950.

Louise was always Johnny on the spot, taking in several of her and her husband's siblings and caring for them along with raising her own children. She had a beautiful voice and was always ready to perform for funerals, weddings, and church services. She had a loving heart and enjoyed many friends.
