Farrell H. Adkins, 88, a resident of the Anderson County Health Care Center, passed away Saturday, July 13, 1985. Mr. Adkins, who was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, was preceded in death by his wife, Flotilla Adkins, who passed away in May. He is survived by a daughter, Velora Frances Portwood of Kingston; two brothers: Maynard Adkins of Norma, and Frank Adkins of Oneida; one grandchild; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 16, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Martin Funeral Home in Clinton, with Rev. W. B. Wiser officiating. Burial was in the Tennessee Valley Memory Garden.
