The Dear Lord has removed from his earthly home Andrew Bollinger, who was born November 21, 1851.
He professed faith in Christ at the old Ebenezer Church a good many years ago.
He was 78 years, 2 months, and 26 days old.
His first wife preceded him in death just 21 months ago. He was later married to Mrs. Eva Stone at Lutesville, who survives him.
He is also survived by two sons and two daughters; who are John Bollinger of Lutesville; Mrs. W.C. Hartwig of near Marble Hill; Mrs. L.A. Proffer of near Cape Girardeau; and Leo Bollinger of near Marble Hill. He also leaves 19 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Uncle Andy, as he was called by all who knew him, also had one half-brother of Cape Girardeau, who was not able to attend the funeral.
Uncle Andy moved from Sedgewickville to his farm three miles east of Marble Hill on March 3, 1901, where he resided until death took him.
Funeral services were conducted at Hahn Chapel. He was buried in the cemetery there.
