Graveside service for Mary Rebecca Sprayberry Bowen, 76, of Sylacauga will be held , Saturday, July 2 at 11:00 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery with Reverend Paul Hickman and Reverend Fred Jemison officiating.
Mrs. Bowen died at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Bowen; and her sister, Nancy Mitchell. She is survived by her sons, Robert J. Bowen (Melissa) of Childersburg, and Richard J. Bowen (Rose) of Sylacauga; daughters Sandra Machen (Eddie) of Alexander City, Rebecca Hicks (Jerry) of Sylacauga, and Angela Bradford (Fred) of Chelsea; brother James Sprayberry of Orlando, FL; brother-in-law Elmer Mitchell of Opelika, fifteen grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Curtis and Son North Chapel.
