Clinton M. Cahoon, a Reecer Creek rancher for the past 14 years a resident of the Kittitas Valley, died at 5 p.m. yesterday in a Seattle hospital it was learned here by relatives. Mr. Cahoon had been ill for several months but was not thought seriously so until a week ago, when he went to Seattle for treatment.
Mr. Cahoon was born in Yakima County on January 3, 1878. Besides his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. M. M. Cahoon, he leaves two sisters. Mrs. John Moen of Ellensburg, Mrs. Virgil Spurling of Cle Elum; one brother, Elmer Cahoon, who resides at South Fort George, B. C., and several children, Clarence, Emil, Arthur, Lloyd, Marion, Hazel and Mrs. Homer [Clara] Stewart, all of this city.
Mr. Cahoon was a member of the Modern Woodmen. No funeral arrangements have been made pending word from relatives.
