DEATH OF THOMAS GWINNER

Thomas J. Gwinner died last night at 10:45 o'clock at the home of his son, Art Gwinner, 831 Exchange Street. Mr. Gwinner was born in Puck County, in Pennsylvania, in 1836. For the past twelve years he had made his home with his son, Art Gwinner, and family. He was married to Miss Belle Kynaston, in Pennsylvania, who died thirty years ago. Mr. Gwinner was a sergeant in the Civil War, serving with Company A, Second Regiment, Pannsylvania Cavalry. He was in the Battle of Bull Run.Mr. Gwinner was discharged from the army November 3, 1862, for physical disability.

Mr. Gwinner is survived by three sons and two daughters, Mrs. Eva Gordon, of El Dorado; Mrs. Jack Read and Glenn Gwinner, of Philadelphia, Pa.; Harvey Gwinner, of Clarion, Iowa, and Art Gwinner, of Emporia. Mr. Gwinner belonged (sic) to the Christian Church. Funeral arrangements have not been made, pending the arrival of Mrs. Art Gwinner and children, who are in Colorado.
