Clarence E. Naubauer, 76, of 2100 E. 6th St, Merrill, formerly of W4490 Pope Rd, Merrill, died on Sunday, January 29, 1995 at Pine Crest Nursing Home, Merrill.
Clarence was born on December 8, 1918 in Merrill, the son of the late Paul and Elizabeth Kemp Neubauer. In July of 1958 he married Neva Berthman in Rhinelander. She died on February 6, 1982. On November 4, 1982 he married Johan Condon Parfrey in Merrill.
Prior to his retirement in 1983, Clarence was a laborer at Lincoln Wood Products, Merrill. He was an Army Veteran of World War II, having served in the 32nd Red Arrow Division. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening.
He is survived by his second wife Johan, Merrill along with step daughters and step-sons; four sisters, Mildred (Harry) Lauder of Sturgeon Bay; Lois (Walter) Paul of Beloit, and Shirley Kloss and Marjorie (Edward) Hinke of Merrill along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Neva and a brother.
Funeral services were held on Thursday afternoon, February 2, 1995 in Merrill. The Rev. Earl Eckhart officiated and burial followed at Merrill Memorial Park.
