George D. Faucett Dies After Illness; Rites Wednesday
EAST GERMANTOWN - George D. Faucett, age 65, retired farmer and feed grain dealer of Wayne Co., IN, died in the Henry County Hospital Monday morning following an extended illness.
George resided most of his life in Wayne and Henry Counties in IN.
Survivors include his widow, Mable Faucett; one daughter, Mrs. Roscoe Matney of rural Cambridge City; one sister, Mrs. Fannie Bradway of rural Connersville; one brother, Phillip M. Faucett of Champaign, IL; three grandchildren: Joyce, Shirley and Jimmie Matney, all of rural Cambridge City; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in Howard and Son Funeral Home in Cambridge City with Reverend Leslie Yeager, pastor of the Zion Lutheran Church in East Germantown, officiating. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
*Marriage records show George was the son of William and Hattie M. (Matson) Faucett. He married Mable Hartman on Dec. 12, 1917 in Wayne Co., IN.
