On August 7th, Jane Rigby of Battle Street, age 94 years passed. Survived by 1 son John Rigby of Surrey B. C., 3 daughters, Mrs. J. C. (Mary) Piper of Kamloops, Mrs. J. A. (Gertrude) Hay of Richmond, Mrs. A. J. (Eleanor) Carell of Toronto. Also 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Mrs. Rigby lived in Kamloops for the past 55 years. She was a charter member of the Catholic Women's League, Sacred Heart Parish Council and also a member of the Legion of Mary. Prayers were recited in the Schoening Funeral Chapel on Sunday evening August 10th at 8:30 PM, Rev. Father G. Biollo celebrated mass in Sacred Heart Cathedral on Monday morning August 11th at 10:00 AM. Interment was in the family plot Pleasant Street Cemetery.
