James Thorton Campbell
Birth: May 5, 1918
Virginia, USA
Death: 1970
Fairfax County
Virginia, USA

My Uncle Jim died while working as an Electrician at Dulles Airport. But, he was a life long Firefighter, and Chief of both the Arlington and Lake Jackson Virginia Fire Departments. He was married and totally in love with Eunice B. Campbell. While in the US Navy during WWII he was a Sea Bee. He was also a Mason probably in the Manassas or Lake Jackson Lodge. My Aunt Eunice was in the Eastern Star and a life long Bell Telephone supervisor. His mother was Lena Virginia Staples Campbell; father James Milford Campbell; sisters Esther Eilene Campbell Morgan, Marie Olivia Campbell Marchant Andrews, and Marjorie Amelia Campbell Gray White. Uncle Jim liked the country, to garden, to have a dog or two, and he was an extremely popular fellow. He had a loud bellowing laugh and was a very generous soul. Truly he lived his values and was a Methodist, as well.

Uncle Jim, Here's your Christmas present. This year, it's "the baby" for the egg nog that you and the rest of the uncles had to enjoy in your mother's wash room, EVERY CHRISTMAS! What fun we had. Love, m~d
