KENTON - Services for Harry A. Smith, 94, of here, will be 2 p.m. Thursday in the Hull-Leis Funeral Home, Rev. James Duvall officiating. Burial will be in the Ridgeway Cemetery.
Mr. Smith died at 8:40 p.m. Monday in the Hardin County Home.
Born Oct. 5, 1878, in Union County, he was a son of Robert and Emmalie Furgeson Smith. He was married Oct. 8, 1902, to Molly Jacobs, who died in 1939.
Surviving is a son, Robert of Rt. 2; two daughters, Mrs. Hilda Mankey and Mrs. Ruth Fraber, both of here; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. James (Lilly) Cottrell of Ridgeway.
Mr. Smith was affiliated with the News Republic here for 35 years and operated Smith Commercial Printing for 55 years.
