Harley Edward Campbell passed away on June 14, 2008 in Roseville, Calif. at the age of 85.
Born in Piedmont, Kansas on July 15, 1922, he moved to Lincoln, Calif. with his family in the 1930's. He was preceded in death by his father, Orvil W. Campbell, his mother, Susie E. Campbell, and his brother, Dallas W. Campbell. He is survived by his nephews, Larry W. Campbell and Rodney E. Campbell, and his great-nephews and nieces, Joe Campbell, Elizabeth Campbell, Angela Campbell, Matthew Campbell, Rachel Campbell, and Tim Campbell.
Harley was a long-time resident of Lincoln, Calif., where he resided for over 69 years. He attended Lincoln High School and later served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He retired after a 30-year career with Southern Pacific Railroad as an electrician. Trained as a gunsmith, he was an avid hunter and enjoyed spending time in the outdoors with his friends and family.
Burial services were conducted for Harley Campbell on June 26, 2008 at the Lincoln Cemetery.
