Services were held on Wednesday, October7, 1970 in Mulvane Chapel at the Methodist home in Topeka, Kansas for Mrs.
Gladys Bonnell, 85, who passed away Sunday night, October 4, 1970 in a Topeka, Kansas hospital where she was admitted on Friday after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage.
She was born on July 6, 1885 at Beattie, Kansas in Marshall County, the daughter of William and Clara Farrar. She spent most of her life in the Frankfort area.
She entered the Methodist Home in Topeka on June 23, 1961.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church at
Frankfort. She was also the pianist, officer and teacher at the church. She later served as pianist at the Methodist Home.
She was married to Charles Bonnell, on November 25, 1910. He died in 1952. She also was preceded in death by a son.
Survivors include a son, Howard W. Bonnell, Kenilworth,
Illinois; a sister, Mrs. Alice Haight, Tyrone, Oklahoma;
a brother, William M. Farrar, La Veta,Colorado; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held at the Frankfort Cemetery, Frankfort, Kansas.
